My passion for Giving Circles

One of the best things about belonging to a Giving Circle is the fact that it has broadened my knowledge about our local community. I have learned about needs, opportunities, events, passions, start-ups and grass roots organizations that I probably would have missed on my own. While I am fairly active as a volunteer, being in our GiVE group allows me to share in the experiences of 11 other women, to benefit from their service, research and connections. I have been able to donate to people and groups that I might never had come across on my own. Some might not have been my cup of tea, but others have sparked my interest and I have continued on with them as a donor or volunteer. The Giving Circle has never been boring or repetitive and it is great to be able to dig a bit deeper into the community and see its needs from different perspectives.
